Beat Maker

O. k. so you’re searching for a beat maker to produce some crazy beats easily and quick right? But you’re finding all sorts of sites with pitches and have no idea which one to get or what the difference is between them… Believe me, most of us went through the same thing when we we’re in the market for the right hip-hop beat maker like DubTurbo. I went through so much research trying to find the right software just to get a few simple beats exported in studio quality, like 16-bit stereo for example. Some of my research led me to experiment with free beat makers or online music production programs, and all of them Sucked!

For starters, you must have a sequencer… Your asking what that is? It is pretty much your playing field or drawing board where all the sounds you want to use will be brought into the time-line. If your going to use sound effects, drums, voices, instruments or anything else, this is where they all come together. Before you get to the drum editor panels and begin building the actual beats or triggered tones on the keyboards, the sequencer has to be populated with all the sounds you’ll be working with.

Second: It better not dare to only let you import external sounds because every beat maker that’s worth anything ought to come packed with phat libraries of pre-mastered samples. And those sounds better be at least 44. 1 16-bit lossless, broadcast quality stereo WAV format. That way, whenever you export the files, the format quality should remain the same giving you that incomparable quality & spine cracking pro-audio sound!

Finally, after thinking about giving up on a beat maker under$200 bucks, I decided to give Mega Music Maker a try. It covers all the above plus more, and cost lower than some ready made beats out there. User-friendly interface that’s easy to use that reminds me of a combination of Cubase, Logic and a beat machine panel with a mpc. I’m also impressed by the sheer over-delivering when it comes to updates and small bug fixes on the spot!
